Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon Results
Today was the Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon. Weather wasn’t the best for an August summer day, but it was perfect for running. I finished with a new PR 1:32:22! woo hoo………
Great course that started at the Tacoma airport. For those of you familiar with this area…the race course went like this: Tacoma Narrows Airport – Narrows Bridge – Cheney Stadium – Downtown Tacoma …and finish!
Decent course and relatively flat. Hill at mile 3 and again around mile 10-ish. From mile 11 on…..it’s all downhill! That was a nice way to coast to the finish. Overall, a well organized race and likable course (I’d do it again).

Nice to see Tacoma come through with a good race event. Definitely sounds like one I’ll do if I am in the right place at the right time. Great time and good job on the PR, Jill! Cheers!
Congratulations Jill! That’s a great time and I know you worked really hard for it. I can’t wait to see how you doin in your half ironman in a couple weeks! Let me know if you have any triathlon questions- I’m definitely going to be coming to you with some running quetions in the next few weeks!
